SEOquake Parameters

SEOquake provides a variety of SEO parameters to help you analyze web pages, domains, backlinks, and social metrics—all without leaving your browser. These metrics come from multiple data sources and are displayed in the SEObar, SERP Overlay, SEOquake Panel, and reports.

Types of SEO Parameters

SEOquake parameters fall into two categories:

  • Parameter-Values – Metrics that provide a numerical value, such as Semrush Traffic or Alexa Rank.
  • Parameter-Links – Clickable links that redirect you to external tools, like Whois Lookup or detailed backlink reports.

Breakdown of SEOquake Parameters

Page-Level Metrics (Specific to a single URL):

  • Google Cachedate – Last time Google cached the page.
  • Facebook Likes – Total number of likes the page has received.
  • Pinterest Pins – Total pins for the page.
  • Source Link – Direct link to view the page’s source code.

Domain-Level Metrics (Applies to the entire website):

  • Semrush Rank – A ranking based on estimated organic traffic from Google’s top 100 results.
  • Google/Bing/Yahoo/Baidu Index – The number of indexed pages for the domain in each search engine.
  • Alexa Rank – A ranking of website popularity (lower is better).
  • Semrush Traffic & Traffic Price – Estimated monthly organic traffic and its PPC equivalent value.
  • Compete Rank – Ranking based on unique visitors rather than page views.
  • Whois Lookup – Provides domain registration details.

Backlink Metrics (Measures incoming links to a page or domain):

Google Links – Number of backlinks Google has indexed.
Semrush Links & Linkdomain – Backlink data from Semrush for specific pages and entire domains.
Baidu Links – Number of backlinks indexed by Baidu.

Checking the Source of a Parameter

If you want to see where a parameter’s data comes from, simply click the number displayed next to the metric in the SERP Overlay, SEObar, SEOquake Panel, or other reports. This will take you to the original data source.

Important Note on Parameter Usage

🚨 Using too many parameters too frequently may trigger search engine restrictions or bans. To avoid this, refer to the Troubleshooting section for best practices.

With SEOquake, you can quickly analyze key SEO metrics and make data-driven decisions—without the need for manual research.
